Today. I came to New Zealand to settle down and become a New Zealand citizen.
I still remember the car ride from the airport to Hamilton. I felt car sick and I thought New Zealand was far hotter than they said it was going to be. There was a coke cup heating up at the back of the car - I didn't know it was our car, I hadn't seen my dad for two years.
There was actually a chance that we were going to move to Australia. But it was more difficult to go there, we didn't know that many people in Australia. So we ended up in Aotearoa instead.
I wonder what it would've been like if we were in Australia, life would be different now. Haha - it probably wouldn't be as good ;) (read: mandatory jibe at our neighbours).

My younger brother, Stephen, hasn't smiled since he was 5 years old ;)

I think if you had lived in Australia, you would have been leading the Cronulla riots. With a big stick. :)
Hi Hon,
Nice post. Your brother looks older, but you've probably gotten that one before (sorry)!
Who would want to move to OZ??? hehehehe
That's not very nice, Chris!
Yeah, I've heard that one before, Adi... haha. He sometimes wishes he was older than me. Too bad mwahaha.
Aussie is so overrated =P hehe.
