Airports

The one in Hong Kong, the one in Singapore and the one in Seoul are so similar, I could be anywhere right now. Actually I forgot that I was in Hong Kong for a split second - oops. But I was quite disappointed to find out that we couldn't leave without going through immigration first, oh yeah gotta do that! So we are stuck in the transit area - it's huge though.

Ryan is here with me. He is currently taking a nap and I am wide awake after a cup of cold coffee. How exciting to go to Amsterdam!! This is my second time travelling to Europe and the plane ride is killer... but at least I have a little company this time.

I wonder what everyone else is up to - probably sleeping! One of my friends is doing the Oxfam Trailwalker - walking for 100KM in 36 hours to raise money to overcome poverty... he will probably be practising this weekend. I want to help him raise money for it.

The things we think about on transit.

Today. I came to New Zealand to settle down and become a New Zealand citizen.

I still remember the car ride from the airport to Hamilton. I felt car sick and I thought New Zealand was far hotter than they said it was going to be. There was a coke cup heating up at the back of the car - I didn't know it was our car, I hadn't seen my dad for two years.

There was actually a chance that we were going to move to Australia. But it was more difficult to go there, we didn't know that many people in Australia. So we ended up in Aotearoa instead.

I wonder what it would've been like if we were in Australia, life would be different now. Haha - it probably wouldn't be as good ;) (read: mandatory jibe at our neighbours).

Lost...

MY WALLET.

Calm. This has never happened to me before. And if it did, the wallet was only temporarily misplaced, usually in between the seats of my mum's car. Well this time, I checked between the seats of the rental car and Andrew's car and couldn't find anything!!

So it's gone. Called the police too. What a dampening end to our amazing weekend skydiving in Taupo... I made a list of all the cards I am now without - there were over 15 >< that'll teach me to put all my cards in one wallet.

Anyway, Skydiving was fun! Don't know when I'll get time to upload photos though - I didn't actually take any, they're on Ozge's, Vaish's and Andrew's cameras. I'm rushing around trying to finish everything before I leave. I'll just leave it up to Yat Wan to do the honours.

The Rugby Sevens

The went to the Rugby Sevens held in Wellington, NZ last weekend. What fun, what atmosphere and what costumes!! The girls dressed up as little She-devils and the guys in blue pyjamas. It was a fun two days and we got to sit in some really nice seats =)

I can't get the pictures uploaded =(

See ya later, call centre

I've been working at a call centre for the past couple of months - well only about 5 weeks not including Christmas and it has had its ups and downs. The people are always interesting and the management tries their best to keep everyone happy - so they won't leave. The campaigns that they do are for really good organisations too... none of that insurance pushing business.

So I am actually quite sad that I have to go. There will be too many times during the next three months when I have to take time off. It just wouldn't be right.

So what's going to happen from here?

Amsterdam ;)
